Woolly Woolly

Willy

The grampa of the gang. He’s overflowing with wisdom and (sometimes unsolicited) advice. He knows EVERYTHING about the Woolly Woolly World, the forest and its inhabitants. A great tinkerer-gardener, he really enjoys teaching the younger ones things he knows well (sometimes less…), and to keep his sweet half, Josie, happy.

Josie

She is the gramma of the group. An eternal optimist, her gentle heart and noble spirit know no bounds. She is always there to listen and encourage her fellow Woollys. Fearless thanks to a rich background of incredible experiences, she is always ready for adventure and doubt is not part of her life.

BeeBee

He’s the youngest Woolly of the bunch and the grandson of Josie and Willy with whom he spends all his holidays. Enthusiastic and outgoing, he is in constant awe of the world around him. BeeBee likes to learn new things with his grampa and gramma, do incredible stunts with Pirouette, but what he enjoys the most is to go on adventures with his best friend ChooChoo.

ChooChoo

He is the son of Willy and Josie’s neighbors, and Pirouettes’ little brother. Little... in age! Because physically, he’s rather big and very strong! Yet ChooChoo is a sensitive and delicate child, respectful of the rules, very polite and very very chic with his great assortment of hats and bowties that he enjoys to knit carefully. He often needs to be reassured and encouraged because the slightest problem can take enormous proportions.

Pirouette

A little older than her brother ChooChoo, she is resourceful, and extremely dynamic. These qualities make her a very self-reliable Woolly tween. A true champion of Parkour, she is always ready for thrills and outstanding adventures, especially if they involve twists and turns such as back-flips, triple jumps and cartwheels.

Claudine

Claudine is the tree house where Josie, Willy and BeeBee live. It's a very comfy tiny house and even has a tire attached to a rope to make a swing (or a monocle when she can't see clearly). She is very nice and loves to exchange gossip with the Woollys who leave or come back from a walk. Attached to good manners and politeness, she especially enjoys the company of ChooChoo who is always very chic with his beautiful bow tie of the day.

Auntie Froggie

Very eccentric, yet nice and wise, this Woolly lives in an old stump by a pond in the forest. A great inventor of potions and infusions with questionable combinations of ingredients, her house is always a mess. She's surrounded by frogs outside and inside her place and her big round glasses make her look like one, hence the nickname "Auntie Froggie". The Woollys go to see her when they need to bask in her extensive knowledge, yet they prefer to skip her afternoon tea invitations!

Lila & Marco

Lila and Marco are "real" kids who invent stories with their Woolly Woolly toys. From their playroom, Lila and her little brother present and stage the “play of the day” in a short introduction (only their "real" kids' hands are seen), and return to conclude briefly in a short epilogue. Lila is the driving force behind the stories. Full of energy and enthusiasm, she is a real electric battery with unlimited imagination. Marco is calmer, more dreamy. He likes to make up stories and laugh with his big sister. Despite their differences, they get along pretty well and when they play together, they have a ball!

The Snowllys

A leader who thinks he's the 8th wonder of the world, and a rather silly gang of followers: they're the Snowllys! They're not mean individually speaking, but as soon as they are in a group, they can't help pester or play tricks on the Woollys who very often fall in their traps. But beware, when the snow hits the fan, the Woollys can surprise these troublemakers in the most creative ways!

The Woonicorns

This trio of totally unique unicorns are radiant; their manes flow like rainbow-hued sunlight but... they're not that bright. They spend most of their time wallowing in the Woolly fields singing or complimenting each other, while leaving trails of rainbow-colored magic glitter dust in their wake. In a constant state of wonder, everything and everyone to them is just too “Aaaamaaaazing”.

Bob & Bobbin - The Wool Patrol

These two charismatic odd balls of yarn with cute little hats are the keepers of the rules in Woollywood, much like park rangers. Known as the “Wool Patrol”, the duo aims to address the theme of laws & rules, no matter how fanciful they may be. Rather than giving out tickets and punishments, they prefer to raise awareness through little rhyme songs that they compose and perform with their musical instruments.
